How does activation work?+
Say “Hey SENSA” or press the physical SOS button. SENSA processes the context, pins the location, sends an app alert, and automatically calls your trusted emergency contacts with a one-way alert message.
Does SENSA need a phone nearby?+
No. SENSA has built-in LTE-M cellular connectivity and works completely independently. LTE-M coverage depends on carrier and regional availability.
Is it always listening — or recording?+
It listens locally for its keyword only. It never records or uploads audio during standby; recording starts only after activation.
Who gets alerted in an emergency?+
Up to 3 trusted emergency contacts you choose during setup. They receive the app alert, relevant context and location, plus an automated one-way phone call. The call cannot connect back to the pendant.
Can contacts call or speak through SENSA?+
No. SENSA has no speaker and does not support two-way voice. Its automated alert call is one-way, and contacts cannot call back to the pendant.
Is there a subscription fee?+
Your purchase includes 12 months of Aegis Plus. After that it’s US$4.99/month, and an active subscription is required for operation.
